Cindy Chen, founder of C-Concept was born in Tainan, Taiwan and spent most of her childhood at various places in the U.K. With a master degree in Design and Engineering from Kingston University, the born-and-raised Taiwanese, launched her first set of art-toys-“Unisaur” in 2019. Having previous experience working in Lego, and also an avid art-toys collector herself, Cindy was inspired by many art-toy designers such as Tatsuhiko Akashi, Jason Freeny, Joe Ledbetter and so many others. She also hopes she would be able to bring some positive energy to the industry.

 

Currently the design office is based in London and manufactured in Taiwan. Cindy hopes that she can bring some of her multi-cultural background into her design. “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams are forever- Walt Disney”, for Cindy, “Art with a playful side” is the basis of all her design, and she hopes this can be shared with other collectors.
